I wanted to share with you a very important piece information before you as a couple make your decision of choosing a Las Vegas Wedding Photographer..

Some photographers have one style. You look at their pictures and they are either very beautifully over exposed, some photographers approach there editing in a soft light color for their final product , some process all black and white images,  others vibrant colors, and also add in stunning lighting effects, and others a combination of various styles.

As I stated in my blog on the blog page, we all use the same equipment and similar lenses. We all have to shoot in ideal lighting and other times have to shoot in poor lighting conditions.

We can change how much light comes in or how we minimize the light that comes in. There is no magic. It is all technical and the lighting has a big say in the image.

Most photographers today spend countless hours in the post department. It is very time consuming and the end product results are unlimited in todays technology.

Some brides and grooms like rich color, some like black and white and sepia images, some like faded images, and on and on. If you look at the golf course wedding gallery compared to my wedge wood gallery, you will see a vast difference in color and style.

I displayed 16 images to show you how different one image can look by the magic of technology.

I started out with a vibrant color image, and then to a more natural look and finally worked the image  down to the flat matte finish of a black and white photograph.

I could do so much more and add sun ray effects, make it darker outside, add spot lights and on and on. I am just trying to show you that it isn't the lens or camera, it is how we manipulate that image after the fact.

If you can take the time to look at my galleries, I showcase all kinds of effects and lighting choices chosen by the couples requests.

I am not limited to one style and I always ask the bride and groom what they prefer so I can satisfy their needs.

So please don't think that a $5000.00 wedding photographer does anything different then a affordable photographer that has the same skills. It is all about the post work.

One of the best kept secrets In Las Vegas is just 30 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.

Red Rock Canyon is one of the most stunning backdrops for weddings! The vibrant spectrum of red and orange colors, along with stunning cliffs and mountains are just breathless.

I take you either for two different excursions.

1. The perimeter of the Red Rock National Park from Our Giant Joshua Cactus, West Red Rock Mountains and Calico Basin that has a beautiful country like feel with a grassy field and awesome mountains that scream bursts of color.

2. Inside the park for a 13 mile drive that includes easy rock climbing for one of a kind pictures to a trail to a giant pine tree and large rock formation.

This truly is a experience you will truly treasure for a lifetime.

It is one of my favorite places to be and provides images that can not be reproduced anywhere even close.

I pick you up at your hotel and drive you to Nelson Ghost Town and then we explore the countless possibilities to provide you with a unique photoshoot.

The electric green cactus are also one of the prettiest in our state.

Just a 45 minute drive from the strip we will spend 1.5 hours capturing some of the most unique and vintage props in our city and leave you wanting more.

The neon boneyard is a favorite to many couples.The iconic signs can not be found anywhere else.

 In case you didn't know, there is a fee from 200.00 to 800.00 for a professional wedding shoot there. They have limited days and time slots open, so try to book in advance.

The pre-shots are so much fun and a great addition to the story.

There are so many things I do from organizing the shoes, jewelry, make-up and the dress to get images of those alone.

We do everything from silly pillow fights to fun poses to candid moments.

If you love fashion the way I love fashion, I am the luckiest guy on the planet.  I often say to myself, I can't believe this is my job.

I am displaying various brides on this gallery from A to Z. Each bride has there unique taste in dresses and also in personality. Each ;bride has her own style. I think after 15 years of doing weddings I really understand the brides and cater to there every need. I have helped put on the dress to put the straps on there shoes.

I have helped with nerves, to being a therapist (lol).There are times the bride needs solitude, there are times the bride needs direction. I have had the pleasure of participating in over 4000 weddings to date.

I KEEP telling myself it is all about the bride. It is her day and I go 110% in the giving column to make sure she has the most awesome day.

I constantly show the bride the pictures as we shoot to make sure she is happy with her profile and stance and to make sure she is happy with the way her body looks.

The most important part of my job is to provide you with images that you feel comfortable displaying and that you feel beautiful.

Just imagine walking into a room with a bunch of strangers that are judging your every move.

Being just a photographer is not enough. It takes a person that gets along with others, who can read people and also appease them, has great patience, and also has the ability to act quick and capture moments in a blink.

Someone that gets joy from giving to others and on top of all that, making sure the technical aspect and artistic aspect of the job are flawless.

I have been blessed with those qualities and shows by the way I treat people and how I love my profession.

I love the bridesmaids. There job is to make sure all the brides needs are met and to keep me in check. I have received so many wonderful comments from the bridesmaids during the wedding and in return they have a fun time.

It is great how all the different personalities create these memorable moments that are such great images to reflect back on.

Sometimes you get a shy bride and a outrageous bridal party and other times visa versa. It creates a great ;balance to the atmosphere.

I honestly get a feel for what the ladies want and respect what they are willing to do or not willing to do. I know I keep on saying this, but it is what makes the bride and her entourage happy.

I love meeting new people and have had countless memories or fun.

The Wedding Party is exactly what is sounds like, It is party time!

I had such great time with so many groups of individuals from all walks of life. I have been privileged to capture memories for them and listen to so much history of their lives.

Sometimes it is a challenge to get large groups of people to participate and other groups it just comes naturally. Either way I make it fun and exciting so we get the best out of the wedding party.

One of the most important attributes between a couple and a photographer is how comfortable they feel.

If the couple needs direction, it needs to be done in a gentle manner.

There are so many beautiful Golf Courses in Las Vegas. I have shot almost at all of them over the last 15 years.

Not only did we have the wedding and reception at the golf course, but we also did pre shots at the hotel the couple was staying at.

There are so many factors that contribute to a final picture

The time of day, the kind of day (cloudy, sunny,ect). what lens you are using for the shoot, and how you edit the pictures.. A picture in black and white or sepia has its own look. It really comes down to preference.

In The Wedding "The Artisan" I display a black and white and sepia version of a wedding so you can see the differences.

The lighting, time of day and the style I shot for The Artisan is a totally different approach.

I not only provide a color copy of all the pictures but I also give you a complimentary copy of all the images in Black and White and Sepia versions.

I ask the client what look or style they like. Some photographers edit and shoot there pictures over exposed or some take the vibrant color out of the picture and add effects in the computer a certain look. it is a preference of the two of you.

I am not limited to one kind of photography style.

This group was here to have a fun time and if you view the gallery it shows in there personalities. They were easy to work with and took direction well.

This is just another example of the diversity in which I shoot a wedding.

This was a soft approach to capturing the love between this couple.

I did a more formal approach to this group to suite there personalities.

I focused on exhibiting the couple to show you examples of poses and the intimacy I captured.

I also took a few venue pictures to display what I include in every wedding.

The Artisan is a very gothic and low light atmosphere. It has a very different mood than a lot of venues.

I am displaying this wedding so you can see a vast difference between the golf course wedding and this one.

The bride wanted a very edgy feel to her photos inside and a lighter less colorful side to the wedding.

Lake Las Vegas Is About 25 Miles Outside of the city limits. It has a Tuscan, Venetian feel and is just absolutely gorgeous. It is one of our valleys hidden treasures.

There are 4 resorts that provide weddings on the lake and I am displaying a sample of the venues and a little different twist on each wedding.

About the valley of fire. It is a 60 minute drive each way/ mu fee for valley of fire is 800 plus 250 for the minister this includes full transportation.

I get so many weddings where it is a second marriage.

The blending of two families is such a special atmosphere and it is a great opportunity for me to see such love and sacrifice the families are willing to make to blend these families.

I cherish all the opportunities that my profession offers me to witness and capture ina artistic way.
